Tuition
- Tuition varies on length of private lesson- We offer lesson lengths according to a child’s age (see Tuition Table)
- Tuition includes private lessons, group classes, recitals, teacher supplies for students/parents, and general events for the PBSSM community.
- Total Semester costs do not include: Suzuki music books/CDs, parent education reading books, instrument rentals and instrument accessories, PBSSM school polo shirt, or anything else beyond our Faculty’s instruction through private lessons, classes offered and special events including recitals and outreach events. - For students with the secondary instrument - the parent/student will need to come to an agreement with their private teachers to determine which instrument is their primary or secondary instrument. This decision is important as it gives priority to the primary instruments group class for that year. Group class schedules may conflict for that particular student and in that event it will be necessary to choose the primary instruments group class for that particular year.
- Additional lessons (during the school year are over the summer months): We encourage students to take additional lessons either because of additional preparation needed for upcoming auditions, solo recitals, general progress needed at a time to "boost" or a request for consistency over the summer months. You can request additional lessons with your private teacher.
- Ask your teacher for their "extra lesson" rate!
- If a student/family misses regular "semester private lesson" or "additional lesson" there are no make ups
- Registration Fee - Annual Fee of $75 for one student (family fee is $100 for two or more siblings) will be collected with your registration form by the second week of the semester. This nonrefundable fee is your commitment to the new semester and goes toward similar PBSSM needs as your tuition fulfills.
